How It Works
What kind of teacher are you? What kind of teacher do you want to be?

Understudy Staffing Services is unique in Alberta. Our roster features the highest-quality dance instructors.
​
Our instructors are reliable, experienced, trusted, and trustworthy. They love to teach, and aim to inspire. They are certified and respectable. If this sound like you, read on!
When a studio is in a jam, they call us. And that's when we call YOU! Understudy Staffing Services provides HIGH-QUALITY, EXPERIENCED instructors to studios in Central and Southern Alberta.

We have placements from one-time substitute, maternity or injury leave coverage, part-time and full-time positions, competition cleaning, choreography, and adjudication.
We keep track of all the paperwork! When you accept a placement, just show up and do what you do best: TEACH! We take care of all of the details. At the end of the month, we send you payment for the hours you worked (minus Agency Fee). EASY AS THAT!

There is no minimum or maximum you have to work. Some of our members use us as their full-time job, some just on days off, some only when they are in the area. There is NO FEE to you for being a member of our Roster - only when you book and complete a placement.
How To Apply
If you are successful, we will require the following in order to set up your own personal page on our website:

--> Short Bio
--> Copy of CPR and First Aid
--> Copy of Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector)
--> Proof of Certifications
--> Completion of "Respect in Sport"
To become a member of our Roster, simply fill out our application form and email to us. Feel free to include your resume, CV, or website link.

From here we may invite you for an interview. This could be in person, over the phone, or via Skype. We will then speak with your references and/or former employers.
We ensure that all of our Roster Members are the top quality in their field and will uphold the standards of Understudy Staffing Services.
